What to Expect in Your Telehealth Follow-Up
Our telehealth follow-up visits are designed to keep your weight loss journey on track, from the comfort of your own home. Each visit takes place through a secure video platform and typically lasts 20–30 minutes. During your session, your clinician will review your progress, answer questions, and provide clear next steps. Before your appointment, have the following ready:
- Your most recent weight and measurements
- Current medication list and notes on adherence
- Questions or concerns you’d like addressed
- Any home vital readings (such as blood pressure)

Your Comprehensive Progress Review
At every follow-up, your provider carefully reviews:
- Weight & measurements – tracking progress and body changes
- Symptoms or side effects – identifying how you’re responding
- Medication adherence – ensuring consistency and effectiveness
- Home vital signs – blood pressure, heart rate, or glucose readings
- Lab work status – checking if new labs are needed or reviewing
- Dose Adjustment and Safety
Safe and Personalized Medication Management
Your medication plan is reviewed and adjusted as needed. Dose changes are made using a stepwise approach to balance results with safety: You’ll also receive simple self-care steps (hydration, nutrition, activity) and red-flag guidance on when to contact your provider immediately.
Increase
If you’re tolerating your current treatment well but not seeing enough progress, your provider may carefully increase your dose to give you additional support.
Hold
Sometimes your body needs more time to adjust. In these cases, your provider may recommend holding at your current dose until you’re ready to move forward.
Reduce
If you experience side effects or any concerns, your dose may be reduced to ensure safety and comfort while keeping you on track with your goals. if you’re experiencing side effects
